Happy New Year!
I apologize for the lack of posting over the past month.
I was very fortunate to be able to return home over the winter holidays to celebrate with my friends and family.
It was great being back in Minneapolis, Minnesota, but it's even better being back in Bologna for round two, despite the fact that I have an exam in 9 days and am in the process of reading my 800 page book and memorizing it.
The Spring semester group has arrived and it's been an eventful return getting to know them, joining in on their welcome dinner, helping look for new apartments, going out, and celebrating birthdays.
It's also been a busy past week since one of my roommates won il servizio civile in Florence and will be leaving at the end of the month so we've been in the process of looking for a new roommate. As much as it was stressful to look for an apartment back in September, it's just as stressful if not more so trying to find a new roommate.
Last week we had between 30-40 girls come look at the room. This person is a potential friend and isn't someone who just fills a space and pays the rent. Hopefully we will soon know who we will be joining us!
